# Architecture

The platform will consist of four layers:

* Users: Platform access provided to cover purchasers, underwriters, investors, community members, and the Advisory Board.
* Operations: Encapsulates core interactions with the RiskShield protocol by different stakeholders and business operations such as cover purchases, staking underwriting capital, redemptions, investments, voting and claims.
* Products: Includes core protocol functions such as product pricing and development, Investment and Cover Arms, governance, etc.
* Infrastructure: Initially establishing itself on the Ethereum network as a base, and build the RiskShield protocol's interoperability with external oracles, as well as cross-chain capabilities.
